BBDO France's new headquarters brings together several advertising agencies in a six-storey building, sharing a client centre, cafeteria and panoramic terrace. Each agency retains its own identity within a coherent whole whose common denominators are elegance, openness and colour. However, each agency has its own distinctive image, for example, a reproduction of the hotel corridor from Stanley Kubrick's film The Shining was made for one of the agencies. The project, designed in collaboration with HLW Architects, features different types of workspaces in perfect correlation with the activity of the agencies: informal amphitheatres for group presentations, semi-open ‘boxes’ for creative pairs and open creative spaces equipped with writing walls, video screens and ‘acoustic armchairs’.
