After more than 10 years in the same location and with projections for growth, it was time for Hogan Lovells to revisit the workplace strategy and the quality of the working environment. Unable to find a new location to match their expectations, the firm elected for a wholesale renovation of their existing space, avenue Matignon. The first challenge was to cater for increased headcount on an unchanged footprint. Lead by CHAMBERS architects, analysis of requirements, followed by staff surveys and collaborative workshops, enabled the definition of new space uses and new possibilities for better using space. Second challenge, to create a new image, lasting and sustainable far from fads and fashion. Using the examples of high-end boutiques and hospitality, the concept designed by CHAMBERS architects offers an appeasing and select atmosphere, antidote to a world in constant flux, a concept supported by attention to detail and user functionality.
