A sense of welcome
A sense of welcome
The first floor of Eversheds Sutherland's Paris headquarters, designed by Chambers architects, is dedicated to a client suite. It opens onto an inner courtyard reserved for the firm, and abundantly planted. Through the long glass wall, this vegetal décor is omnipresent from the moment visitors are welcomed. This is followed by the client lounge, a generous waiting and meeting area opening onto a series of meeting rooms, themselves glazed to take advantage of the soothing view. At both ends of this brief journey, two points of interest. No classic reception desk at the entrance - it would have cluttered the narrow passageway - but a marble desk at the end of a luminous corridor. The host or hostess reaches it only when a visitor is announced, his or her permanent workstation barely two meters away. As for the six modular meeting rooms for 6 to 30 people, some have been moved to the second day, unlike the customer lounge antechamber . Naturally lit, they can be hidden by a simple curtain when confidentiality is required, providing a comfortable, uncluttered setting for discussions. What's important is what's shared within these walls.
