As one of the leading providers of enterprise planning software, Anaplan has chosen a unique location for its new headquarters: 18 rue du 4 Septembre (Paris2nd arrondissement), in the historic former Crédit Lyonnais building, renowned for its extraordinary monumental glass roof. On thethird floor, spanning1,000 square meters, the developer sought to create a work environment and reception area for its often prestigious corporate clients that exudes a sense of well-being and clarity rather than an emphasis on technology.
The crystal-clear floor plan divides the central reception area into two wings, one for customers and the other for staff, developers and sales people. The former features a number of meeting rooms of varying sizes, so that you are never limited in your ability to receive external contacts. The second, with its open-plan layout, ends with a town hall, an in-house standing/seated event space equipped with video projection, and a 24-seat cafeteria. The entire interior design pays homage to the elegant geometry of the metal structure of the large glass roof on the first floor. At Anaplan, the glass surfaces are divided by thin black aluminum profiles. The same linear lines are repeated, in relief on the oak wall panels, or flat on the carpeted floors.
